THE STUDENTS of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines urged the school administration to hold face-to-face classes and graduation this year.

In a survey conducted via Facebook, the students appealed that they be allowed to return to the classrooms. The graduating class, meanwhile, asked for a face-to-face graduation saying that they deserve a decent send-off.

Several individuals suggested that face-to-face classes can wait until the next academic year but said that graduation can only happen once.

They noted that as pioneers of K-12 education, they deserve to have in-person graduation as their stay in school has been extended by the curriculum and the pandemic.

PUP said that the earliest time that the school will hold physical classes is in the next academic year.
