PUP STUDENTS GET ONE-WEEK ACADEMIC BREAK

/ 3 November 2020

STUDENTS and faculty members from all year levels of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines have been given a one-week academic break.

In an advisory released on Monday, the university announced that all synchronous and asynchronous will be suspended. The same goes for the submission of online requirements from November 3 to 8.

“To allow students and faculty members to recover from the impact of typhoon Rolly, PUP will be taking an academic break on all year levels in the main campus, and all branches, and satellite campuses,” the university said.

“As such, all academic activities shall resume on November 9. Please be guided accordingly,” it added.

Several students expressed their gratitude to the university, saying it will give them time to rest and evaluate their remote learning workload.

“Salamat PUP!! Pinagpala kang sadya”, “PUP iiyak na ba ako? Thank you huhuhu”, “Sana all sa mga taga-PUP”, and “Nagalaw na ang baso, sabihin mo salamatPUP,” were some of the reaction made by students.
