THE STUDENT Council of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ Institute of Technology is asking donations to help the family of a student who died settle the hospital bill.

The council said that Amabelle dela Cruz died on November 28, 2020 of brain complications.

Her family is awaiting the result of her swab test and is still in need of P30,000 to pay her hospital bill.

“Kasalukuyang pinoproseso ang death certificate ni Amabelle at hinihintay ang resulta ng SWAB TEST upang madetermina kung paano maihahatid sa huling hantungan si Amabelle. Ayon sa kanyang mga kamag-anak kailangan pa nila ng 30,000 na pambayad sa ospital,” the council said on Facebook.

“Kaya kami, kasama ang mga mahal sa buhay ni Amabelle, ay nais humingi ng tulong upang makalikom na DONASYON upang mapunan ang nasabing halaga. Maaari po kayong magbigay ng kahit magkanong halaga,” it added.
