PUP DECLARES TWO-WEEK ACADEMIC BREAK

/ 16 November 2020

THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines on Sunday announced a two-week academic break for all its campuses.

The university suspended synchronous and asynchronous class activities from November 16 to November 27 to allow students and faculty to recover from the impact of Typhoon Ulysses.

Classes will resume on November 28.

However, because of frequent class suspensions, the university said the first semester for this academic year will be extended.

Details on the academic year adjustments will be announced at a later date.

Earlier, several schools announced week-long suspension of classes due to the effects of typhoons Ulysses and Rolly.

These include the Ateneo de Manila University, the University of Santo Tomas, and the University of the East.
