PUP CONSIDERING F2F GRADUATION

/ 16 May 2022

THE POLYTECHNIC  University of the Philippines is considering holding face-to-face graduation, the central student council said.

The council held a dialogue with the Office of Student Services and the Office of Vice President for Student Affairs and Services about the issue.

It said that holding physical graduation has to be coordinated with the Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid19, the Local Government Unit of Manila, and the Commission on Higher Education.

The venue of the graduation will likely be the university grounds, it said.

Graduation fees will be subsidized in line with the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act of Free Education law.

“Rest assured that the PUP Sentral na Konseho ng Mag-aaral along with the other local student councils will have a follow-up meeting with the PUP administration and maintain a close coordination for the discussion on the conduct of physical graduation,” the council said.
