THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines won six awards in the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines Conference.

The university was again conferred as top Internal Quality Assurance Unit among State Universities and Colleges for two consecutive years.

PUP was also recognized as top 2 with the most number of programs granted Level IV accredited status, and top 3 with the most number of programs given Level III accredited status.

Currently, AACCUP adapts online platforms to continue evaluate institutional programs amid the pandemic.

Universities and colleges are still assessed based on the quality of 10 key areas — mission, goals, objectives; faculty; curriculum and instruction; students; research;  extension and community involvement;   library;  physical facilities;  laboratories;  and administration.

In 2019, PUP was recognized as no 1 with the most number of programs granted Level I accredited status, and top 2 with the most number of programs awarded Level III accredited status

Likewise, PUP was granted top 1 with the Most Improved Internal Quality Assurance, and no. 5 with the highest percentage of accredited programs among programs assessed by AACCUP from 1992 to 2019.

AACCUP is an accrediting body composed of 111 SUCs that conducts evaluation of curricular programs.
