PSU BREAKS GROUND FOR NEW BUILDING

/ 11 October 2022

THE PANGASINAN State University broke ground for a P25-million building that will house more classrooms.

The third phase of the university’s Grand Legacy Building will have 14 classrooms that can accommodate 800 learners.

“This is for the students. This Legacy building may be seen as stately or grand but the most treasured form of legacy is intangible — the reason for building this, the memories, the friendship and the respect that we earned while we were here,” University President Dr. Dexter Buted said.

“Para sa inyo ito. Sa susunod na henerasyon ng mga mag-aaral at mga empleyado, sana maalala ninyo itong handog namin sa inyo, kahit kami ay wala na dito,” he added.

University Engineer Isagani Victorio said the budget for the building was sourced from the General Appropriations.

Buted challenged the next PSU administration to continue the project. At least P300 million is needed to complete the nine phases of the project.
