/ 28 June 2021

THE PAMPANGA State Agricultural University received a P24.9 million grant from the Commission on Higher Education for the implementation of its Smart Campus project.

The money will be used to improve the internet connectivity and integration of learners’ information systems and learning management systems in its campuses.

The project will also help the university to become a future-proof higher educational institution.

PSAU said that the project aims to address “the network connectivity problems by doubling the current internet bandwidth in the campus.”

“The seamless integration of the learner’s information system and learning management system  will also help the students in handling their courses remotely, make online learning materials more accessible, and address enrollment issues,” it added.

The university is one of 19 State Colleges and Universities chosen by CHED to receive grants out of 111 applicants.
