THE DEPARTMENT of Education has collaborated with the Philippine Normal University to review and validate learning resources for distance learning this school year.

They signed a Memorandum of Agreement on February 23, 2021 to ensure the quality of Self-Learning Modules and Radio/TV scripts in 10 learning areas from Grade 7 to 10 for the 3rd and 4th quarter of School Year 2020-2021.

“Subject area specialists and practitioners from PNU and its partner institutions serve as validators, who conduct content and language review of the learning resources,” the university said.

The MOA signing was led by PNU President Bert Tuga and DepEd Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Diosdado San Antonio.

Also present were Dr. Jennie Jocson, Vice President for Academics; Harry Huliganga, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Ronald Allan Mabunga, Vice President for Research, Planning, and Quality Assurance; Dr. Lordinio Vergara, Vice President for University Relations and Advancement; Dr. Alma Ruby Torio, DepEd Assistant Secretary for Curriculum; and Atty. Ariz Delson Cawilan, Officer-in-Charge of the DepEd Bureau of Learning Resources.

The university’s project management core team also witnessed the event.
