PLM TOP PERFORMING SCHOOL IN PHYSICIAN LICENSURE EXAM

ONLY two of the 103 examinees of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila did not pass the Physician Licensure Examination given in October.

With 101 passers, the PLM was the top performing school with a 98.06 percent passing rate.

The University of the Philippines Manila came second with 96.30 percent passing rate, followed by the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health with a rating of 96 percent.

They were followed by the University of Santo Tomas with 94.38 percent; University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, 90.60 percent; Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, 85.42 percent; and San Beda University, 82.14 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission said that 1,677 out of 2,302 passed the licensure exam given by the Board of Medicine in Manila and Tuguegarao.
