BAGAMAN maraming paraan ng pagkatuto ang inihahanda ng mga unibersidad para sa mga mag-aaral ngayong panahon ng pandemya, hindi pa rin maikakailang malaking tulong ang pagkakaroon ng laptop para sa mas episyenteng pag-aaral, partikular sa mga nagnanais na maging inhinyero balang araw.

Ito ang inilalapit ni Joriza Lope, mag-aaral sa unang taon ng Industrial Engineering sa Politeknikal na Unibersidad ng Pilipinas – Sta Mesa.

Tinawag niyang ‘Piso Para sa Laptop’, nananawagan si Lope sa mga mamamayang mayroong butihing puso para bigayn siya ng pisong donasyon upang makabili ng kakailanganing laptop sa pasukan sa Setyembre. Ang halagang malilikom ay para sa kanya at sa kanyang kapatid na sasabak sa online classes.

Ibinahagi niya na kaya niya sinimulan ang fund raising ay dahil sa kakulangang pinansiyal. Ang kaniyang ina, na single-parent, ay walang trabaho sa kasalukuyan.

Bukod dito, nag-aalok din si Lope ng tutorial services at ang malilikom niya’y pandagdag sa lahat ng kinakailangang bilhin at gamitin sa pag-aaral.

I am Joriza Lope, an incoming first year Industrial Engineering student in Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta Mesa, humbly knocking your hearts as I try to raise funds to buy any secondhand gadget. I’ve seen a lot of posts about “PISO PARA SA LAPTOP” and I would like to take this opportunity to ask for donations.
