PANGASINAN STATE U GIVES EMPLOYEES FREE FLU VACCINE

THE PANGASINAN State University announced that it will give free flu vaccination to all of its employees in all campuses to ensure their safety amid the rising Covid19 cases in the province.

In a Facebook post, the university said that teachers and other school personnel can avail themselves of the free flu shots.

“Free flu vaccination is already available for teaching and non-teaching staff of PSU Main and Lingayen to be administered by the Medical-Dental Office. There shall be a scheduled visit to other campuses,” the university said.

The Pangasinan Provincial Health Office said that 19 local government units out of 42 still have active Covid19 cases.

The LGUs with active cases are Dagupan City, Sta. Barbara, Calasiao, Lingayen, Malasiqui, Mangaldan, Bolinao, Urdaneta City, Alcala, Balungao, Bugallon, Anda, Binalonan, Binmaley, Manaoag, San Fabian, San Carlos City, Sison, Labrador, Rosales and Villasis.

As of October 12, the province had 1,325 confirmed coronavirus cases. There were 850 recoveries and 428 patients were in confinement. A total of 47 fatalities was also recorded.
