/ 12 September 2021

THE NUEVA Vizcaya State University announced Friday it has raised more than P24 million for its research and development projects.

The school said the amount covers seven projects with various agencies.

The project which generated the most resources is dubbed β€˜Enhancing Biopesticide Efficacy of Entomopathogenic Fungi Against Citrus Rind Borer in Calamansi and Pummelo by Mycosynthesis of Bio-Nanoparticles’, which will be funded by the Department of Science and Technology.

It has a total budget of P10,348,034.

Officer-in-Charge President Ruth R. Padilla said the amount was raised in six months.

β€œMayroon po tayong naipasok na pondo dahil sa galing ng mga nagawa ninyong RDE proposals, a little more than P24 million. In a matter of six months, ganoon ang naipasok natin sa unibersidad, I’m expecting more,” Padilla said as posted on NVSU’s Facebook page.

Other projects are geared towards helping various sectors in Nueva Vizcaya.
