OVER 3,000 PLM STUDENTS RECEIVE CASH CARD

/ 16 December 2021

THE PAMANTASAN ng Lungsod ng Maynila, in partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines, distributed cash cards to 3,620 students.

The cash cards are used for the monthly assistance they receive from the local government of Manila.

Majority of the recipients are freshmen.

“The P1,000 a month cash assistance is a big help to our students whose families are experiencing economic difficulties caused by the Covid19 pandemic. We thank the city government of Manila under the leadership of Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso for continuing the distribution of financial assistance to Manila-based PLM students,” University President Emmanuel Leyco said.

The cash aid is given to students who are legitimate residents of Manila.

Students claiming their cash cards have to complete a Data Privacy Act consent declaration form, a cash card application form, and present their student enrollment form. They must also show proof of residency, such as a voter’s ID or registration stub, and a barangay certificate.
