THE OCCIDENTAL Mindoro State College will help promote sexual and reproductive health among students amid the pandemic.

The college inked an agreement with the Rizal National High School for an extension activity regarding the matter.

OMSC said that the initiative will provide students knowledge on reproductive health as well as counseling.

“[The initiative] aims to provide appropriate information and counseling on sexual and reproductive health, information on body changes that occur during the adolescent stage related to physical and sexual maturation; the discussion on unwanted pregnancies and the complications that are associated with early pregnancies,” the school said.

“With this venture, both schools hope that the community will be further educated on their responsibilities in protecting the rights of women and children,” it added.
