NEGROS COLLEGE HOLDS WEB CAMPAIGN ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

THE CARLOS Hilado Memorial State College in Negros Occidental will hold a series of webinars and other activities for its campaign to end violence against women and children.

The host of events will last for 18 days or from November 25 to December 12, 2020.

The virtual opening program will be hosted by the CHMSC Binalbagan campus.

A series of webinars tackling the “Safe Spaces Act” will be conducted on December 1 for faculty members and graduating students. These will be live-streamed on the school’s Facebook page.

Sessions on mental health and coping with pandemic will be conducted for all faculty members and staff the following day.

A seminar on the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act and HIV and AIDS Prevention Management will also be conducted for first-year students on December 3.

A Tik Tok Challenge, Poster Making contest, Spoken Poetry, Quiz Bowl, Virtual Zumba 2020 Challenge, Komposo para sa Nanay Ko, Nanay Mo, Nanay ng Buong Mundo, Pasil Women Got Talent, and a GAD Best Plantitas and Plantitos will be the culminating activities.
