NAVOTAS NATIONAL HS STUDENT NAMED CHAMPION IN YOUTH TIKTOK CHALLENGE

A STUDENT from the Navotas National High School was the overall champion in the Youth Against Antimicrobial Resistance Tiktok Challenge for High School Students.

Caroline Salilican edged out other high school learners across the country to claim the title.

She received P15,000 for her submission titled, “CaroLearns: Antimicrobial Resistance.”

Meanwhile, students of the Ateneo de Manila Senior High School and Philippine Science High School-Southern Mindanao  placed 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The competition was organized by the UP Medical Students for Social Responsibility, the UP Medicine Student Council, the UP Manila College of Public Health Student Council, the UP Pharmaceutical Association Student Council, and the Asian Medical Students’ Association-Philippines to mark World Antimicrobial Awareness Week.

The winners were announced last December 10 during an online program conducted by the Department of Education’s Bureau of Learning Delivery and the organizers of Youth Against AMR.
