N. VIZCAYA STATE U ENDORSES PODCAST ON BIODIVERSITY

THE NUEVA Vizcaya State University endorsed a podcast featuring the biodiversity of the province to give people perspective about its rich terrain.

“Growing Shade Podcast on  Nueva Vizcaya Biodiversity” was written and directed by Arshiela Gauuan Manuel and Jestony S. Baylon from the Institute of Environmental Governance of NVSU.

The podcast was streamed on Spotify.

The initiative is part of Wildlife Philippines’ partnership with the United States Agency for International Development and the US Department of the Interior´s International Technical Assistance Program for its Biodiversity Conservation 3 of Tanggol Kalikasan.

The podcast highlights the importance of the province as a watershed haven for Region 2. It also shows the province’s diverse flora and fauna.

“The province of Nueva Vizcaya is dubbed as the watershed haven of Region II. About 79% of its landscape is mountainous and serves as home to diverse flora and fauna which most are in critical condition,” according to the podcast.
