THE MOUNTAIN Province State Polytechnic College drew flak for its policy requiring students to bring their school ID, vaccination card, and Philhealth card when entering the campus.

Some netizens said that the policy was unconstitutional.

“Vaccination is not mandatory at ang Philhealth, some students are still dependent on their parents. Then you required them to have a PhilHealth?” one netizen commented.

The college said it will answer the concerns regarding the policy during the virtual student orientation on Thursday.

The Commission on Higher Education is eyeing the mandatory vaccination of college students especially those who will attend their classrooms to resume in-person learning.
