THE MOUNTAIN Province State Polytechnic College partnered with the local government unit of Bontoc on a project for child care workers.

Officials of MPSCPC and Municipal Mayor Franklin C. Odsey met on Monday to sign the Memorandum of Agreement.

The “Early Childhood Education and Inclusive Education Program for Child Care Workers in Bontoc” aims to help develop the skills of child care workers.

“The overarching goal of the project is to capacitate the Child Development Workers (CDW) of Bontoc to deliver quality, responsive, and inclusive education to their clients,” MPSPC said on Facebook.

“The CWDs shall be involved in a series of seminars and workshops provided by the Teacher Education Department of MPSPC led by Fatima Joy T. Bukong on topics like inclusive education, sign language, braille reading and writing, instructional materials development, among others,” it added.

The project is part of “nurturing a university of developmental culture and inclusive growth,” it said.
