MOUNTAIN PROVINCE POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE REOPENS BONTOC CAMPUS

/ 23 November 2020

THE MOUNTAIN Province Polytechnic College will reopen on Monday its Bontoc Campus which was locked down last week after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

The school lifted the lockdown order following the negative swab test results of its employees.

The MPPC Bontoc campus was locked down on November 16 after a 22-year-old employee contracted the virus.

All persons she came in contact with were tested and all of them tested negative.

A memorandum signed by the college president, the Bontoc chief of police, barangay captain, and the mayor said the lockdown will be lifted on Monday, November 23.

However, all of those employees who were tested will have to complete their 14-day self-quarantine as a precaution against the contagious disease.
