THE MARIANO Marcos State University launched the first MMSU Global Alumni Network in Canada.

University President Shirley Agrupis was at the soft opening of the alumni network which was attended in-person and virtually by 88 MMSU graduates.

The alumni chapter’s mission is to build a strong network to promote the university’s name around the world and to run events and projects that will benefit members, their families and the academic community.

“I hope we can start working together and building on each other’s achievements to advance the university’s functions such as instruction, research, and community engagement,” Agrupis said.

MMSU Federated Alumni Association Incorporated President Gwyneth Quidang hopes that the network will foster long-term collaboration between the university and its alumni in support of the institution’s thrusts and strategic goals.

Graduates of MMSU in Canada applauded the university’s decision to establish an alumni network in the country.

They also expressed eagerness to learn more about the university and give their thoughts, technical experience, and innovative inputs as soon as possible.
