MINDANAO STATE U-IIT REVISES VISION AND MISSION
THE MINDANAO State University-Iligan Institute of Technology has revised its vision, mission, and core values.
Two new core values were added to the five existing ones — transparency and participation.
“The statements reflect several months of work by the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development, which included input from the Vice Chancellors of the Institute and members of the Academic Planning Committee,” the university said.
During the first Process Audit Workshop held in April 2019, Chancellor Sukarno Tanggol expounded on the need to revise the university’s vision, mission, and core values to help guide the MSU-IIT to reach greater heights.
“As MSU-IIT charts its future, the vision and mission and the core values serve as reference points for the faculty, staff, and students and to reflect the aspirations of the university as a whole,” Tanggol said.
“The new vision, mission, and values herald a new visionary enterprise for a better future of MSU-IIT and will always be used to provide quality education for the youth in Mindanao,” he added.
