MARIANO MARCOS STATE U GETS 100% PASSING RATE IN HUMAN RESOURCE ASSESSMENT EXAM

THE MARIANO Marcos State University posted a 100 percent passing rate in the Certified Human Resource Association assessment examination this year.

Krismary Sharmaine Yapo, now an instructor in the university, placed 9th with a rating of 89.63%.

The other passers from MMSU include Janela Ruth Claudine Andres, Alyza Jeanelle Baltazar, Vanessa Calube, Joe Shantel Pagdilao and Shaira Vae Quitang.

The exam was virtually administered by the Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. on January 23.

“These graduates are all first-time examinees. They are among the 82 passers who produced 94.25% overall passing rate for this year’s eighth batch,” MMSU said.

“The College also exhibited the same performance last year when 10 graduates passed and 3 of them made it to the roster of top passers,” it added.

The CHRA is a qualifying test for the HREAP’s certification programs.

The four-hour examination was divided into two sets — Set 1 covered recruitment and selection, workplace learning and development, compensation & benefits, and performance management, job analysis and design, and risk management. Set 2  was composed of labor and HR related laws.

Qualified to take the exam are graduates and graduating students of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management.

Others can also take the exam provided that they have one year HR-related experience.

The HREAP is a professional membership organization of human resource educators in the country that focuses on the development of human resource programs, academe-industry collaboration, research publication, and learning and development.
