THE MAPUA University was given a 4-star rating by the QS Star World University Rankings, certifying its ‘world-class’ education.

“With our strong commitment to provide a leading-edge and world-class quality of education, we are now a 4-Star Institution as rated by the QS Intelligence Unit. #QSStars #VivaMapua #Mapua Excellence,” the school said on Facebook.

QS Star is an international rating website that gives a detailed look at schools for students searching for their prospective university.

Mapua was also ranked 401-405 in the list of top universities in the world.

Mapua was rated on the following criteria: teaching, four stars; employability, five stars; internationalization, three stars; academic development, three stars, facilities, five stars; social responsibility, five stars; inclusiveness, four stars; and Information Systems, four stars, which gave the school an almost perfect overall rate.

A four-star rating means that the university is ”highly international, demonstrating excellence in both research and teaching. The institution provides an excellent environment for students and faculty.”
