LPU DAVAO WAIVES ADMISSION EXAM

/ 15 November 2020

THE LYCEUM of the Philippines-Davao will not administer its college entrance examination for next school year.

“The admission exam for academic year 2021-2022 will officially be waived,” the school announced on its website.

Those who want to enroll need only fill out and submit personally or online the application forms provided by the Admissions and External Relations Office.

LPU Davao Vice President and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Felipe Balingit Jr. said that the enrollment process will be ‘smooth’ and ‘hassle-free’.

He added that the university will look at the performance of students in their previous schools in evaluating their applications.

“We will rely on the academic performance of students in their previous schools. They need also to perform and meet our minimum standards,” he said.

Balingit said that LPU-Davao is always looking for innovative ways to make the learning experience fun.

He added that the school did not hike tuition this year in consideration of the pandemic that left thousands without jobs.
