LA SALLE LAW STUDENTS DISTRIBUTE POCKET WI-FI

/ 1 December 2020

LAW STUDENTS of the De La Salle University who launched “Project Wi-Fi” handed 100 units of pocket Wi-Fi and 600 pieces of load cards to the Tarlac State University.

Rafa Reyes, co-founder of Project WiFi, said the donation will be given to TSU students in need.

The group aims to give 2,100 devices to students nationwide. Each beneficiary would also get six load cards for their online learning.

Reyes said the beneficiaries of their project are poor students from grade school to college.

Project WiFi was formed by seven working law students — David Magbanua, Lawrence Paras, Jasper Yang, K Santos, Peachy Garcia, Denise Heredia, and Rafa Reyes.

Aljohn Salcedo, a fifth year civil engineering student, received a laptop from TSU President Dr. Myrna Mallari during the turnover.
