KALINGA STATE U UNVEILS STATE-OF-THE-ART MULTIMEDIA ROOM

THE KALINGA State University unveiled its multi-million multimedia room which aims to  help professors adapt to 21st century learning.

The state-of-the-art facility cost P25 million.

It is equipped with smart television units and ‘Galileo One’, a wireless interactive clip-on device that uses 3-D Dual Band Optical Movement Detection Technology which turns any flat panel to become an interactive display, and ‘Kneura’, a virtual classroom platform.

“Its user-friendly interface enables professors to effortlessly share their knowledge while utilizing various content sources, making it much easier for learners to understand the presented ideas,” KSU said on Facebook.

“The faculty were trained to utilize the said equipment in their classes. The faculty were introduced to software such as Kneura technology,” it added.

KSU said that the multimedia room was set up through the initiative of the Office of the University President, University Research Development, and the ICT department.
