/ 28 October 2020

STUDENTS of the Jose Rizal University will get a two-day academic break in November, the university administration has announced.

In its official Facebook page, the school said students from elementary to the collegiate level, including those taking up law, will be given time to unwind. There will be no synchronous and asynchronous sessions from November 3 to 4.

“Please be informed that we will have a two-day Academic Break on November 3 and 4, 2020. In keeping with this, there will be No Online Classes; thus, all learning activities are suspended for the Basic Education, College, and Law School Divisions until resumption on Thursday, November 5, 2020,” the university said.

JRU said that the academic break intends to give students and university personnel time away from academic work.

Due to the academic priorities and trimester schedule, JRU Graduate School Division is not included in the break, the university said.
