ISU’s CONTACT TRACING APP TO BE USED BY ISABELA PROVINCE

/ 1 October 2021

AN APPLICATION developed by the Isabela State University will be used by the province for contact tracing efforts and security measures.

ISU said that its “HealthGuard” application will help residents, government facilities, private business establishments, and travelers.

“Upon registration, a QR Code that is unique to every individual will be generated, and would be used upon entry to establishments and cross checkpoint boundaries,” ISU said on Facebook.

“The codes [logged in] thru the scanners will create a [database] for contact tracing and other health-related policies,” it added.

The public can register for their QR code via www.healthguard.ph.

The application was developed by the ISU Cauyan campus’ Business Intelligence Research and Development Center.
