ISABELA STATE U UNVEILS CROCODILE CENTER

/ 30 April 2022

THE ISABELA State University unveiled the Philippine Crocodile Conservation Center in its San Mariano campus.

ISU President Ricmar Aquino said that the PCCC is a testament to the “love and commitment for nature and wildlife” of the university.

He added that the center is part of ISU’s advocacy to greatly appreciate nature.

The center is a product of the agreement among the local government unit of San Mariano, ISU and the Mabuwaya Foundation.

Since 1999, the Mabuwaya Foundation has been preserving and protecting the Philippine crocodile in its natural environment.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Department of Tourism also helped in the establishment of the crocodile center.

Representatives from the said institutions attended the unveiling and inauguration of the PCCC on April 19, 2022.
