ISABELA STATE U LAUNCHES TELEMEDICINE PROGRAM
THE ISABELA State University launched its telemedicine program, the first telehealth project in Cagayan Valley.
Dubbed “Cauayan City Covid-19 Care Consult” or C5, it aims to help address the dearth of medical workforce.
ISU President Dr. Ricmar Aquino said that the program is for Covid19 patients with asymptomatic or mild cases and who could not be accommodated in hospitals.
“With ‘C5’, a Covid patient will be attended to by medical personnel who will contact the patient and administer convenient medical services through mobile phones, computer or any communication devices,” Aquino said.
The program is in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Commission on Higher Education and Dynamic Outsource Solutions Inc.
