ISABELA STATE U DECLARES 5-DAY ACADEMIC RELIEF
THE ISABELA State University declared a five-day academic relief from April 5 to 9 to give students and staff a breather.
A memorandum issued by the Office of the President directed faculty members to refrain from conducting synchronous and asynchronous classes. They were directed to adjust the deadline for the submission of school requirements.
The university said it allowed the break to help students cope with the anxiety and stress amid the surge in Covid19 cases.
It would also allow faculty members to reflect on the changes to be made in the teaching of courses and evaluation of students.
The ISU earlier announced a university-wide lockdown because of the surge in Covid19 cases.
