TO EXPAND the rollout of its community development activities and initiatives, iACADEMY partnered with several organizations through its External Linkages and Partnerships Department.

The school, through its Social Orientation and Community Involvement unit, expressed  its intent to be an active partner of the community in implementing advocacy work, community-engaged learning and partnership synergy that will motivate community transformation and development.

“We believe that the partnership with various institutions is an important component of teaching that would support our faculty members in nurturing Game Changers to be innovative, become bearers of positive impact in the society, and to be quality leaders with a strong commitment for community transformation,” Raquel Perez-Wong, Chief Operating Officer of iACADEMY, said.

The school partnered with the Educational Research and Development Assistance Foundation Inc., San Juan National High School, Barangay 740 in Manila City with 4,000 residents, and Barangay San Antonio in Makati City with 17,494 residents.

Dolora Cardeño, executive director of ERDA Foundation, Inc., shared her delight in the partnership, saying that she admires the school’s openness and active participation in community programs..

“Dito, tulong-tulong tayo. Hindi nag-iisa ang estudyante, at hindi nag-iisa ang komunidad. We will be working together to attain our objectives”, she adds.

Cesar Camayra, principal of San Juan National High School, said that they are looking forward to implementing the partnership that is seen to change the game through community service and education.
