HOLY CROSS OF DAVAO COLLEGE URGES STUDENTS TO GET NAT’L ID

/ 31 October 2021

THE HOLY Cross of Davao College encouraged its students to apply for their Philippine Identification System ID.

In a Facebook post, HCDC said students should have a PhilSys or national ID.

“School has started again! And as students, you can make the best out of the school year by registering with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) and getting your PhilID!” the post said.

The school said the ID is useful when applying for scholarships, part-time jobs and/or opening a bank account.

HCDC also said the ID is free and has lifetime validity.

Republic Act 11055 or the Philippine Identification System Act aims to establish a single national ID for Filipinos and foreigners residing in the Philippines.

It can be used in public and private transactions, especially in dealing with government agencies.
