HOLY ANGEL UNIVERSITY HOLDS LECTURE ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND FORENSIC EDUCATION

THE COLLEGE of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics of the Holy Angel University in Pampanga will conduct an international lecture series on the future of criminal justice education and forensics in the country.

Themed “Inquisitio: A Virtual Probe to Forensics”, the lecture series will be on November 4, 7, and 21, 2020.

Dr. Gery Caño of the Professional Criminologist Association of the Philippines Inc. and Forensic Consultant Shane Turnidge of Canada will conduct lectures entitled “Preparing for the future: Philippine Criminal Justice Education” and “The power of a Picture: Identifying People Through Images of their Hands”, respectively, on November 4.

Meanwhile, Deepali Chaudhry of the University of Delhi in India will discuss forensic anthropology and its applications on November 7.

On November 14, Director of Forensic Science Academy of California Teri Armenta and Assistant Prof. Abraham Johnson of the National Forensic Science University in India will share their knowledge on crime scene processing and overview of forensic odontology.

Finally, Assistant Prof. Maria Denise Gemmellaro of Kean University in New Jersey, USA will hold a lecture entitled “Forensic Entomology: Uses of Insects in Criminal Investigation”.  It will be held on November 21.
