GYMNATORIUM TO RISE IN MARIANO MARCOS STATE U
A GYMNATORIUM will soon rise in Mariano Marcos State University in Batac City that would be intended for sports activities.
The contemporary infrastructure is being built at the Sports Complex on the school’s main campus, MMSU information officer Daniel Tapaoan Jr. said.
Tapaoan said that Senator Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Pacquiao and Antique Representative Loren Legarda helped pay the project.
Tapaoan said that the structure has a floor space of 8,444.77 square meters and will be able to accommodate 3,000 people. It has a stage area of 300 square meters.
It will house dance studios, a fitness facility, dressing rooms, rehearsal areas, offices, a restaurant and restrooms.
Director Rowell Tagatac of the MMSU-Center for Human Movement Studies said that the facility can serve as venue for major activities that to be organized by the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association, Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges and the Association of State Colleges and Universities-Solid North.
