GCC APPEALS FOR DECENCY IN ELECTION DISCOURSE AMONG CONSTITUENTS

/ 9 March 2022

THE GINOOC City Colleges appealed to its constituents to practice decency when engaging in political discourse as the elections near.

In a statement, school President Tita Garrido said that GCCians should show self-discipline while being vocal about their opinion since they carry the name of the school.

Garrido said that humility and integrity should be kept in mind as they converse with other individuals regarding politics and elections.

She added that students should be guided by the truth when voting.

“It is my hope and my prayer that as GCCians, we realized the need to vote for competent, committed and compassionate future leaders and vote according to the dictates of our conscience,” Garrido said.

The country will elect new leaders in May 2022.
