THE MARINDUQUE State College and the Mindoro State University paid tribute to the former president of the Occidental Mindoro State College who died on Tuesday.

Dr. Arnold N. Venturia died on May 4, 2021 at the age of 58.

“The MSC Community would like to express its deepest sympathies to the family of the late Dr. Arnold N. Venturina,” MSC said on Facebook.

“To the bereaved family of our friend and former President of Occidental Mindoro State College, Dr. Arnold Venturio, please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences from the entire community of Mindoro State University,” MINSU said on Facebook.

“We are deeply sorry to hear about his sudden passing. Our hearts are with you at this difficult time. He will always be remembered as an academic leader and partner in public service,” it added.

The OMSC declared May 4 a day of mourning.

Its campuses lowered their flags at half-mast as a sign of respect and honor.
