FAMILY OF DECEASED ENGINEERING STUDENT SOLICITS FOR DONATIONS

/ 4 October 2020

THE PHILIPPINE Institute of Industrial Engineers-Polytechnic University of the Philippines Student Chapter is asking for donations to help the family of its fellow student who died of leukemia.

The organization noted any amount would help the family of Mark Maranan, a second-year Industrial Engineering student of PUP, to pay his past medical bills as well as his interment.

While Mark met an untimely death, he will be remembered for his motivation to live his life, the group said.

“Mark is full of motivation to live his life and showed us a good fight as he suffered from leukemia. He may have left our sight, but he shall never be forgotten,” the organization said on Facebook.

Interested donors can wire transfer their donations to Marilou Maranan’s GCash account: 09162732977 and BDO bank account: 003880122843.

The group also sent their heartfelt thoughts to the family of the bereaved: “Heartfelt thoughts go out to his family and friends in this time of sorrow.”
