DORSU PARTNERS WITH UP FOR GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH

/ 26 September 2021

THE DAVAO Oriental State University and University of the Philippines Mindanao will collaborate on a gender and development research.

UP heads the research on areas of gender and development and related studies in the fields of agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources, according to DorSU.

The research dubbed ‘Annotated Compendium of Gender and Development Research in Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources: Towards Developing the AANR Gender and Development Research and Development Agenda and Framework’ will receive funding from the Department of Science and Technology.

Exact content of the deal will be unveiled once the two institutions officially break a Memorandum of Agreement.

“Both institutions are expected to execute a (MoA) and co-publish at least one paper for journal publication,” DorSU said on Facebook.

Officials from UP and DorSU met on Thursday and Friday in the City of Mati to discuss the matter.
