/ 10 May 2021

THE DON Bosco Technical Institute in Tarlac City will open a new campus to provide more quality technical-vocational education and training to residents of Tarlac and its neighboring communities.

The second campus will be built in Ayala Land’s Cresendo Estate also in Tarlac.

Fr. Ian Rosal, economer of Don Bosco Tarlac, said that Don Bosco Tarlac is the pioneer Don Bosco institution in the Philippines but it is the only one without a TVET Center.

“The current Don Bosco Tarlac campus has long proven itself to contribute significantly to the growth of Tarlac and communities around the country,” Rosal said.

He said that the school offers a formative environment for students to become good Christians and upright citizens.

Fr. Jerry Santos, the school’s rector, explained that the new campus will offer project and research-based learning.

“Our curriculum will encourage creativity, high-level choices, problem solving and problem-finding, we will be offering project-based and research-based learning,” he said.

The operations in the second campus is set to start in 2023.
