DLSU SUSPENDS IN-PERSON CLASSES

/ 4 January 2022

THE DE LA SALLE University suspended face-to-face classes and onsite thesis work because of the reimposition of Alert Level 3 in the National Capital Region.

Brother Bernard Oca, DLSU president, said the move will mitigate the Covid19 infections in the campus.

He added only the most essential, urgent and important activities will be allowed inside the campus.

“Request will be subjected to strict evaluation by the supervising VC/VP. In addition, the campus access reporting scheme is reimposed,” he added.

The official advised all students and employees to update their inoculation status in the university’s vaccine record monitoring form.

The data gathered shall serve as the reference for official purposes, he said.

“As we welcome the new year, let us continue to be vigilant and strictly observe the guidelines on safe distancing, hygiene, and sanitation,” he said.

The NCR will be under Alert Level 3 from January 3 to 15, 2022 to curb the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid19.
