CSU PARTNERS WITH SM TO PROVIDE JOBS FOR STUDENTS
THE CAGAYAN State University signed a partnership agreement with SM Downtown Tuguegarao on the apprenticeship of students.
SM vowed to accept 5,000 on-the-job trainees and graduates for apprenticeships.
The Memorandum of Agreement was signed to support the alumni, said Dr. Theresa Dimalanta, executive director of the CSU Andrews campus.
“The CSU graduates have the opportunities to be equipped with their competencies through apprenticeships and later have jobs through job fairs,” she said.
The agreement covers an internship program, hiring, job placement and training sessions.
“The alumni graduates would gain opportunities from various job vacancies from partner companies and affiliates and later land jobs,” SM Downtown mall manager Romel Uy said.
“The SM Supermalls have been registered as the top employment generators not only in Tuguegarao City but also nationwide. The CSU alumni are with us and they are part of the SM Tuguegarao families,” he added.
