COMPLAINTS SWAMP JRU OPENING OF CLASSES

STUDENTS and parents aired their dismay over Jose Rizal University’s opening of classes after experiencing technical difficulties the other day, August 10, 2020

The complainants claimed they were unable to access their Canvas accounts, creating much confusion.

Canvas is JRU’s main onlne learning platform.

Among some comments were: “TAGAL NAMAN, MGA KAKLASE KO NAGSSTART NA PAANO KAMI,” “HINDI PO GUMAGANA ANG ACC,” “my JRU email is accessible (Swift and AIMS) but not in canvas account,” and “We are still waiting for the jru email and password. I already emailed you and sent message on your given numbers. No reply.”

In response,  JRU reminded the students to follow its three step “Rizalian’s guide in attending online classes.”

“We would like to assure to you that all accounts will be sent to you once completed. Thank you,” JRU added.

JRU’s school opening  greeting on Facebook has also elicited various responses. As of this writing, it has garnered a total of 543 laughters,  259 “Likes” and 148 “Love” reactions.
