CLSU JOINS CAASUC III 2022 CULTURE AND THE ARTS FESTIVAL
THE CENTRAL Luzon State University has joined the 2022 Culture and the Arts Festival of the Culture and the Arts Association of State Universities and Colleges in Region III which began on November 21 at the Tarlac State University.
Dr. Arnold Velasco, TSU president, said that one of the main objectives of the CAASUC III is to provide students an avenue to showcase their talents.
“Expect opposition but friendly competition,” Velasco told the attendees.
He urged participants to develop friendships and sportsmanship during the three-day event.
Some 13 universities and state colleges in Central Luzon competed to be the most dominating team this year.
The participants include delegations from Don Honorio Ventura State University, Bataan Peninsula State University, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, President Ramon Magsaysay State University, Tarlac State University , Pampanga State Agricultural University, Bulacan State University, Philippine State College of Aeronautics, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy, Bulacan Agricultural State College, Aurora State College of Technology, Tarlac Agricultural University and Central Luzon State University.
The students will compete in 16 disciplines including literature, performing arts, vocal, music and instrumental arts, dance and visual arts.
The overall ranking will be revealed on November 25, the final day of the event.
