CHMSC NAMES NEW BOT MEMBERS
THE CARLOS Hilado Memorial State College in Negros Occidental named two new members of its Board of Trustees.
The school on Monday said that Roberto A. Magalona and Socorro Victoria L. De Leon were elected during a special meeting held last month. Both represent the private sector.
Magalona is an entrepreneur and president of three companies. He has been the provincial head of the Gawad Kalinga in Negros Occidental since 2003.
De Leon, on the other hand, is an academician, accountant, and finance officer of the Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City.
The two were chosen out of the five who applied for the position in October last year.
An oathtaking ceremony will be held to formally induct the duo next month.
Magalona and De Leon will serve in the BOT alongside President Dr. Renato M. Sorilla, Executive Assistant Dr. Noberto Mangulabnan, Board Secretary Roy Ramos, Legal Counsel Leo Sombiro, and Management Audit Analyst Liagaya Fuentes.
