THE CARLOS Hilado Memorial State College distributed hygiene kits and personal protective equipment to its stakeholders as part of its initiative to help curb the spread of Covid19.

CHMSC said soap products and face masks made by the college were distributed to students, faculty members, staffers, and the local government unit of Talisay in Bacolod.

A total of 3,500 soap bars, 1,500 bottles of liquid hand soap, and 12,000 face masks were handed out on Friday at the Global Learning Café in the college’s Talisay campus.

“The soap products were made of bio-based ingredients with biodegradable and reusable packaging,” CHMSC said on Facebook.

A total of 550 PPE were also turned over to the college’s frontline institutional partners.

The PPEs consist of suits, apron, shoe cover, and face masks.

The projects have a total budget of P615,940 and P754,047, which were sourced from the Commission on Higher Education’s CHMSC Safe Products project.
