CHMSC DONATES GOODS TO TYPHOON-STRICKEN FAMILIES

/ 5 January 2022

THE CARLOS Hilado Memorial State College donated food, water and other supplies to 860 families affected by Typhoon Odette.

CHMSC donated the goods to families in Sipalay City and Candoni in Negros Occidental.

Candles, containers and vitamins were among the items distributed to the residents.

The donations were pooled by the college as part of its “Walang Iwanan” Typhoon Relief and Recovery to aid the victims of “Odette”.

The items came from its constituents, concerned individuals and groups like the Negros for Leni.

Typhoon Odette killed 407 people and damaged crops and infrastructure worth billions when it lashed Visayas and Mindanao in December.
