THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has granted the Sulu State College P25 million for the implementation of its Smart Campus project.

The project aims to modernize the university’s ICT facilities and improve campus connectivity.

The university thanked CHED for the funding.

“We are extending our deepest gratitude to the Chairman Prospero de Vera and Commissioner Perfecto Alibin for the grant of the project amounting to P25 million and to the college President, Prof. Charisma Ututalum for always initiating and leading the college to excellency,” SSC said on Facebook.

“To the project team and administrators, may this platform serve as an instrument to widen our service to our constituents especially on the new normal,” it added.

Only 19 of the 111 SUCs that applied for the grant were chosen by CHED.
